p194 4th May 1819 - Presentment of Thomas Orrell, James Mayoh and Richard Mason for throwing stones &c. into the ditch bottom in the Higher Bent in the occupation of Thomas Booth of Hardmans.  Amercement 2/- each in case they are found committing the same offence.

p223 3rd May 1828.  Dispute relating to cattle grazing on Charters Moss.  John Mayoh of Moss Side recorded as having 9 cows.  In consequence of the dispute Charters Moss was divided into lots and given to each occupier of the farm.  "John Mayoh to have from the sycamore tree to a gap going into a field called the Little Field belonging to Stones Bank Farm on the west side of the Moss and from there across the Moss to a stile going into James Walche's Meadow.
