976. Sacred to the memory of James Warr, who died May 30th 1827, aged 48 years. He was 26 years Adjutant of the Bolton Volunteers and Local Militia during the last 14 of which he held the rank of Captain. From a principle of religion he was zealously devoted to the service of his King and Country and conscientiously discharged the duties of his station during perilous times to the entire satisfaction of his superiors in command and of the Corps in general. For many years he was trustee and leader in the Wesleyan Methodists Society, the duties of which office he discharged to the satisfaction of his brethren. He was an affectionate husband and kind father. He died in the hope of a glorious immortality through our Lord Jesus Christ.

977. Betty daughter of James Hurmston and beloved wife of Thomas Warr, who departed this life the 25th day of September 1755. Here resteth the body of Thomas Warr, who departed this life on the 30th day of January 1783, aged 73 years.
1185. Here resteth the body of Sarah daughter of John and Ann Warr of Great Bolton, who departed this life the 30th day of October 1784, aged 2 years. Also John Warr, died 7th March 1806, aged 53 years. Also Ann his wife, died 31st July 1802, aged 48 years.
1226. In memory of Thomas Warr, who died 7th June 1800, aged 69. Ann his wife died 26th of October 1805, aged 76 years. Alice Jones their Granddaughter, died 25th of May 1813, aged 9 years. Ellen Crompton daughter of Thomas and Ann Warr, died December 14th 1842, aged 85 years. William Warr died September 18th 1849, aged 81 years. Mary his wife died 17th February 1851, aged 82 years.
1252. Here resteth the body of Peter Warr, who departed this life the 12th day of July 1788, aged 73 years. William the son of James and Alice Turnbull, died February 6th 1845, in the 4th year of his age. This stone the property of W. Warr.
1256. Here resteth the body of Peter Warr of Great Bolton, departed this life the 9th of December 1775, in the 31st year of his age. Also Ann his daughter, departed this life the 22nd of March 1770, aged 1 year and 10 months. Also Peter his son, departed this life 28th of January 1776, aged 1 year and 2 months. James the son of James and Martha Warr, died 27th of June 1812, in the 19th year of his age. This stone the propery of James Warr Slater.
